Ferrari celebrates “70 Years of Ferrari in America” with an incredible display at Pebble Beach Golf Links during Monterey Car Week.
Ferrari celebrated “70 Years of Ferrari in America” with seventy classic automobiles displayed at the 2025 edition of Concorso Ferrari during Monterey Car Week. The showcase, held on the First Fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links®, marked the 70th anniversary of the Maranello carmaker’s first official dealership in the United States.
Celebrating 70 Years in America
Honoring a shared history of vitality and competitive spirit, Ferrari commemorated its 70-year presence in the United States with a brilliant Monterey Car Week display on August 17–18. Since 1954, when Luigi Chinetti opened the first Ferrari dealership in the United States and founded the famed North American Racing Team (N.A.R.T.), America helped lay the foundation for Ferrari’s lasting success. The automaker grew into a powerful force, inspired by race-dominating performance and elegant Italian design, capturing the hearts of motorsport enthusiasts across the continent.

Legends of Racing and the Silver Screen
The annual Concorso Ferrari featured 70 historic automobiles representing the marque’s finest American road and racing cars. Among the significant models displayed were a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 N.A.R.T. Spider, one of only ten built by Sergio Scaglietti; a 1950 166 MM Touring barchetta, originally owned and raced by Scuderia Ferrari, which won the 12 Hours of Paris with Luigi Chinetti and Jean Lucas; and a 1964 Ferrari 250 LM, regarded as one of the greatest Ferrari models ever created, which competed at the 24 Hours of Daytona.
A section of the fairway was dedicated to ‘Daytona’ models—365 GTB4 and 365 GTS4—that defined performance and style during the production years 1968–1973. Other categories included the F60 America, California legacy models, Tailor Made vehicles, and Ferraris with starring roles in American entertainment, including the Testarossa from Miami Vice and the 308 GTS from Magnum, P.I.

Showcasing Ferrari’s Future Icons
Ferrari also presented its latest production models. The Ferrari 12Cilindri and 12Cilindri Spider, unveiled earlier in 2024 in Miami, brought the latest evolution of the iconic Ferrari V12 engine, with styling inspired by the grand tourers of the 1950s and ’60s. The all-new Ferrari Amalfi was also introduced as the marque’s latest open-top grand tourer, blending elegance with twin-turbo V8 performance.
Appearing alongside these models, a carbon-look Ferrari Daytona SP3 showcased the sculptural, cutting-edge styling of the Icona Series. With its naturally aspirated, mid-rear-mounted 840 CV V12 engine, the car embodied Formula 1 composite technology in a road-legal machine.

Immersed in Casa Ferrari
Casa Ferrari once again welcomed a select group of guests with exclusive hospitality on the Pebble Beach fairways. Access was reserved for Ferraristi and invited clients, creating a private sanctuary amid the bustle of Monterey Car Week. The venue offered an immersive brand experience that celebrated Ferrari’s heritage, blending Italian luxury, lifestyle, and motorsport passion in an atmosphere of true exclusivity.
A Record-Breaking Auction Moment
In partnership with RM Sotheby’s, Ferrari achieved a new world record during Monterey Car Week. A one-of-one 2025 Tailor Made Ferrari Daytona SP3 sold for $26 million, becoming the highest-priced new Ferrari ever auctioned. Commissioned as an additional example beyond the 599-unit limited-series production, the car featured a striking exposed carbon fibre and Giallo Modena livery, with the first-ever full-length Ferrari logotype across the body. The interior was finished in Q-Cycle, a sustainable fabric made from recycled tire material, and included yellow seatbelts and embroidered Prancing Horse motifs.
